How long a trolling motor works with a full marine battery?
Both MG and MK rate most of their 12V trolling motors at 40amps peak, which probably means continous draw of about 20 amps.
At that rate, a good group 27 deepcycle with an RC rating of 180 or AH rating of 75, will give you about 2 hours of continous run time until it's 50% discharged, and by then you won't be moving very fast.
But if your just using it for normal fishing, you can get a good four or five hours out of it.
