Fiberglass Matting
do i need safety gear to re fiberglass my car fender?

im using matting resin hardner sandpaper, do i need a paper mask? i cut some matting with scissors and there were tiny sparkles as the light hit just right. i must have breathed some in already but i feel fine,

Absolute minimum: Rubber gloves, a breathing respirator (looks like a large paper mask with 2 charcoal cartridges), and safety glasses. Best: Full body Tyvek suit with hood, face shield, rubber gloves, respirator. I used to work for a place that manufactured faux cast stone from fiberglass. Those guys were required to wear a full body suit, face shield, rubber gloves, and a breathing apparatus similar to scuba gear. At any rate be very careful. The fiberglassing process can be extremely dangerous due to exposure to the chemicals.
