2004 Mercury Monterey-electrical short?
Our van misses when it is raining or wet. We've had plugs and Plug Wires replaced, switched to different gas that does not have ethanol. Any ideas? We tried using gas treatment that displaces moisture but, it still has a miss when it rains. Great van this is frustrating.

If the only time you have this misfire is when it's wet you get two causes, one is that there is a problem with the parts or install on them. The other is that the coil pack insulation is bad and you will need to replace the pac as well.
To test, wait till dry and running well, mix a old windex bottle full of dish soap and water then slowly spray the plugs first working to and ending on the coil pac. I suspect you will find that when you hit the pac the motor will do it's thing.
